Profits by Mojo in Hong Kong and Singapore
In 1994, the profits by Mojo in Hong Kong and Singapore were $30M and $40M respectively. Profits in Hong Kong rose sharply to $60M in 1997 because of the pre handover boom. However, this was followed by a sudden decline and in 1999 its profits fell to the lowerest point of $20M. The possible reason for this was the post handover depression. Profits then improved significantly towards the early 21st century. It was due to the growth of China market which created sales for Mojo.

In contrast, profits in Singapore levelled off in 1995 since the establishment of Singaporean taxation policy in early 1990s. After that, starting from the mid 1990s, the increased competition from Malaysia led to a steady fall of profits to $10M in 2001.

Findings
A survey was conducted to find out the satisfaction of staff about seven aspects of working conditions at the head office in Central of our company. From the survey results, the percentages of satisfaction in following three aspects were relatively low and the possible reasons and implications for these will be discussed below.

Pantry
The satisfaction of both the senior and junior level staff is just 51%. One reason for this is the poor hygiene problem in the pantry. This may also be attributed to the lack of drink variety. The implications of this are that more staff will go out for buying drinks instead of using the pantry. This will probably lead to lower efficiency of work as they use longer time going out.

Equipment
Only a quarter of junior level staff are satisfied with the equipment in the office while more than 7 out of 10 senior level staff are satisfied. A possible explanation for this is the uneven distribution of new equipment. A result of this is that there is a lower productivity of junior level than senior level staff.

Office Furniture
The satisfied junior level staff is less than half while three-quarters of senior level staff are satisfied. It seems that the senior staff use higher-end furniture than the junior staff for meeting with clients. The effect of this might be less motivation for junior staff to find more sales.
